Downloaded this player a few days ago and was curious if anyone else is using it...and if so...what they think.

It is one among the many of newer music apps coming out,I'm surprised no one else has dropped in to offer any input. I was told about it from one of the audio marketplace members here,to watch for this one,and there will be many others to explore in the future. Just getting into the lovely world of the Mac and can't wait to get to try ANY of these great software.

Please post your thoughts and experience so far with Fidelia, when you get enough familiar with it.

I installed fidelia recently on My Mac laptop with Leopard 10.5. I have been using play for a while and found Play to be great yet I do believe Fidelia is better sounding and more musical without an colorations.

Hope this helps?

I haven't tried Fidelia, but would like to. I own Amarra, and in this last week I've tried Pure Music and Decibel. Both sound good in their own way, but neither was such an improvement on Amarra to make want to drop it.

I have been using Fidelia (basic) about a month or so.
I really the sound and the interface. :thumb: (like better than other players)
Fidelia can play AIFF or FLAC (most of audio file) right out the library.
Library with art work is near future  :thumb:
Fidelia still have few bugs and they are working on it.
Can't go wrong with 15 days free trial.  :thumb:
Fidelia can be use for 2 computer on a single licence key.  :thumb:

I am using the trial version of Fidelia and probably will keep using it for now.

It is easiest enough to use that even I have somewhat figured it out.  It is simply plug and play with the newest generation Macs and OS10.6, no drivers to install.

Finally have been able to make more useful verification tests of our new Vision DAC with 192/24 stuff and confirm that both Fidelia, KingRex, and the Vision DAC all work great together with 192/24 music.

I am loving Fidelia! The SQ is superior to Play and that are no another players I can use to match these two.

Fidelia is great!!!! I downloaded the trial version, this afternoon and have been enjoying it all day.  I like it more Audirvana because the interface is much easer to use and I think it sounds better too.  I am using it with my iMac, Nuforce Icon usb amp and AKG headphones.

I just loaded all my FLAC files into Fedelia's own library and it plays them out great - no problems so this is a major  plus for this software!!.

On occasion, the program stops playing a file and sometimes skips to the next one just as in Play.

Just downloaded Fidelia today. Fidelia is way more open and musical than iTunes. I'm still using the Airport express as wireless router and DAC. Any easy upgrade suggestions?

I am thinking about setting up a mac mini system and Fidelia sounds good. On the website it says that you can use an iPhone or iPod touch as a remote control. Does anyone know if you can use an iPad?

Thanks,

The Fidelia remote is an additional Purchase, but works with my iPad.

The Fidelia iPhone app assumes iPhone screen size when running on the iPad, taking no advantage of the greater available screen real estate.  It is not a strong a remote control app as the iTunes Remote app.
