Sorry Guy13, I mean say two 6V6 valves per channel for 12W.Do you know how is the sound of these 6V6 tubes on power position?? I listen these tubes only in gain or drive position.Gustavo> Never go to a psychiatrist, adopt a cat or dog from the street. On the streets pets live only two years average.
Hi Gustavo and all Audio Circle members.Sorry, I have no idea how the 6V6 tubes sounds. Those tubes are often used in guitar amplifier, which is not the same as audio amplifiers.I am currently using 6L6 tubes in my SE-10 Niteshade Audio amplifier. As you already know, different circuits around the same tubes can change their sound.SE pentode, S.E.T, Ultralinear, push pull...You can always write to David Dick at Common Sense Audio, but I am sure you will tell you the same thing as all the other manufacturers. And that's: Their products are the best sounding and their electronic configuration is the best and bla, bla, bla...Are they gona say that their products are no good? Of course not, however, later on, they will say that they have improved their products, which more or less mean that their first generation of products were not that good from the start... (LOL)Guy 13
