Wiring up a project (B1) and overheated an rca redoing a solder joint on the + part. So now it's loose, can spin it. I expect I shrank some plastic inside?
So should i replace it with a new one.
Fwiw I learned my solder lesson.

this happens...even to the best of them
don't worry, just buy a new connector...nothing is worse than a "loose" connector! You don't want to risk a "short"!

I suppose it bears mention that when you solder an RCA connector, you should have a mating connector connected. It acts as a heat sink and stabilizes the terminal while you're heating and pushing it.
