What a great day

What a great shop

Here's a couple pics from my cell phone (which lacks a bit at times);
This is the lobby of Mikes loft at St Louis Stereo

Remember this movie? If I remember correctly, it was filmed right there on Washington Ave. Who knows, Snake Pliskin may have even been in that building

I only took one pick inside Mike's place (besides the sweets)

I think Mark and Kent have a few more though;

The Leben gear was sounding really nice. For me it was a toss up between the big Devore's and the 6L6 amp and the little Totems mated to the Leben 6BQ5. Each pairing did some really nice things on different types of music. The PHY OB full rangers were kinda cool too. Maybe not everybody's cuppa tea but I bet with the right SET and some time to play with the speaker placement, I bet they could start to really sing.
The Well Tempered turntables were pretty awesome. That golf ball arm, as goofy as it seems, is darned impressive. Dead quiet, tracks great and lots of dynamics.
...and now for the sweets

After St Louis Stereo, a few of us made our way over to Kirch's place to check out his new W4S amp and the big Von Schweikerts (sp?)
...sorry about the crappy picture

The system was sounding pretty darned good. The more I hear the W4S gear, the more I'm liking it .... did I really say that

Mike, Brian, thanks for having all of us over
