feel free to move this if necessary, but I mostly frequent this circle. Anyone have experience of any of the DEQX models. I have recently bought the PDC 2.6 and it has transformed my system of open baffle bass and compression driven horns.

A DSP system like the DEQX is the best way to go with an open baffle or dipole speaker.

Hi versus rider.

I have the HDP 3.

Can I be of any help?

Regards,

David

(I too use open baffle and compression driver with waveguide- now the Parts Express 6" X 6" elliptical and a BMS 4450nd).

Hi David, maybe if I get stuck but so far I have muddled through. It takes a little time to get used to the software, i.e. understanding there are three configurations that can have three different crossover/filter settings or even different speakers asigned to them. I have managed to measure the drivers, set the crossover points, choose filters and take room measurements. Then adjust the eq graph, so far its doing a superb job.

Well I got to the point where I learnt that maybe an MTM wasn't the best idea, so my current plan is AE Dipole 15", a 6.5" hi-efficiency pro mid such as a PHL. I got stuck on tweeter selection, specifically a AMT seems like a good choice from the fact that it is naturally a dipole however I am worried about the difference in power response at the XO between the AMT and the 6.5" mid. Maybe I'll go to back to back mounted dome tweeters...unless any one has any sage advice...

Perhaps the Neo10's that studiotech is using might be part of a solution (from the other way, so to speak).
