The Vinyl Circle is now the 8th most popular site here @ AudioCircle...and moving up the list fairly fast. Guess we're not so niche anymore....the vinyl revival seems to be going well
Don't pat yourself on the back just yet John. It's just because the digital guys are too busy happily listening to music to play on the internet forums. What's that noise? Oh....time to go and flip your record over John. Bob
I keep sending invites John.

So John, am I allowed to start.....say a dedicated AR topic line in here?
This is fun. I knew I could get a rise out of you John. Thanks for playing along. I do, in fact, have an AR-XA table that I'm pretty proud of. I was honored for one of the local guy let me hear it on his Maggies. It made the eyebrows raise of some vinyl "big shots" in fact. The bad news; I have no functional preamp. The good news; I do have enough parts to assemble two or three Bugles, just haven't found the time to sling the solder.Have no fear John. I'll be here soon. Bob
if'n you have no preamp, how ya listenin' ta them thar little siver thingamabobs?Or are you saying you haven't a phono section? XA eh¿........when are ya ready to embarass some pretty high-end decks? Marc
Somebody loan Bob in St. Louis a phono pre!!!!! Can you imagine if the old AR has a little bit of bearing noise and some rumble? All 7 of Bob's 15" woofers will be flapping! He could probably keep the mancave cool with that much displacement bopping along at 5-13 Hz. Damn, wish I had one to spare just to watch the IB 15s work. Love ya', man!
John....You could say your the sixth most popular board.... ................since two of the boards above you have been archived.
Bottom line is, I've never heard vinyl in my house. Ever.Bob
You're a virgin? OH MY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
