Their new music player.  There are at least 3 threads just on this Bryston forum discussing it.  Here's one, for example.

Hi James,

With the stem in place, what are the recording specifications of the Beatles in USB format - ?bits/?khz?

Is this the new trend for replacing CDs?

Ciao,

I heard its 24/192 if the stem is in place....128k mp3 if not.

Just kidding.  I just checked amazon and it says 16/44.

I can confirm that the stem is indeed intact - as I saw it - this afternoon - connected to the front of the BDP-1 prototype - at Bryston

Was visiting Bryston to pickup couple of accessories and ...    :o

The 24/44.1 Beatle USB files are slightly better than the redbook remasters (I own them both) but we're really waiting for those damn 24/192 masters.

I'm waiting for all music to be impeccibly recorded and mixed, and in at least 24/196 with a bunch of liner notes, extras, etc.

Until that day comes...

Hi all Beatles lovers...
I love the Beatles, they remind me of my younger days.
I don't have their music on Lp but on CD and to be honest, they sound... Well not too good.
I will wait until they comme up with something suited for the audiophiles.

Isn't it interesting that a blu-ray movie will play the original song from a artist.

It will sound absolutely great.

You order the soundtrack CD, and when you play it, it sounds like *^%*% compared to the
 version on blu-ray.
