I understand it's a controversial topic but just want to narrow down my search and experiments. Please share what have worked well, or not, with your Stratos Extreme Monos, preferably something that don't require a second mortgage to finance  For references, please also state the brands and models you used prior to discovering your favorite. I've use the following with Khartago SE+++ mono extremes.  Relatively inexpensive, high quality (All UP-OCC Copper) and easy to build.

I love OCC wires, I am using TDK OCC speaker wires at the moment and loving it!

How are the wires attached to the connectors, crimping or soldering? If it's crimping, is the tool readily available at local electronics part stores? I've never done this and am very interested. It looks like VH Audio carries the wires for DIY.

You can pick up the bulk cable and connectors at several on-line stores (see below).  No need to solder or crimp.  The Male plug and IEC plugs all have slots that the wire goes into and a metal clamp screws down on the cable.  All you need is a phillips head screw driver.  Instructions come with the connectors.  Good luck!!

I think you asked this question on the Asylum.  I use a Shunyata Copperhead power cord on my Stratos stereo Extreme amp.  My entire system is wired with Shunyata power cords and conditioners.  Here's a thought:  Why not call Klaus and have him make you a cord out of the high end Groneberg cable he sells?  Your amps are wired with it and would surely benefit from it.  If I wasn't so heaavily invested in the Shunyata, thats what I would do.

This is probably very subjective. Works well typicall means produces a sound I like. What sound are you looking for and what do you expect the pc's to accomplish for you other than getting power to the amps?

Also try the Clairvoyant Liquid Air  power cables from www.audio-magic.com. They're the best so far for my Kismet-in-Stratos cases.
