SOLD

Up for sale is my Eva which is the DIYparadise LDR based passive linestage with remote volume control.

The unit is in 9/10 condition and works perfectly.  The only small thing to note is one of the very small rubber footers has gone missing.  I will replace it with poster putty or a similar footer for the new owner.  I have been using it this way without any issue.

This bettered all preamps I have owned and auditioned.  This includes a very long list including some preamps in the $2,000-$5,000 range.

If your system is compatible with a passive preamp I do not see how you will achieve better sound.

Only reason for the sale is my new amp and speakers need an active preamp.

It also has a very small footprint and cool appearance along with remote volume control.

This version has one set of rca inputs and outputs.  Amazing sound quality.

$225 (firm) + shipping.  I will cover paypal fees.  SOLD

These are stock photos but they may be of my actual unit.  It looks exactly the same.

i can wouch for the sound quality of this one.  it's so good that i use it in between my much beloved highly modded melos ma3333r preamp and my amps, for the conwenience of its remote.  even tho my melos has a remote - the melos' remote is not wery ergonomically friendly as it is a true dual-mono preamp, and its remote doesn't track well channel to channel.  i feel it has actually improved the sonics, as the melos seems to sound best when its wolume pots are close to max'd out, which is where i now have them set.  this thing is completely transparent, imo.

even tho the asking price is close to what it was when new, it's still a freaking bargain, imo, especially as diyparadise no longer makes it; i had to buy the more spendy 3-input wersion, even tho i only needed a single input for my use.  someone should grab this, even if they use an active preamp.  (nick, if i were you, i'd keep this and try it w/whatever active you end up with - you may like it!   8) )

I appreciate your comments Doug.  You are right that I probably should have kept it.  It bettered a $4-5k TVC in my system.  It has been sold.

Thanks to all that sent pms.
