Hey Chair Guy,

Check it out: www.phonoclone.com

I used the latest V3 boards.  It's up and running using a SLA battery power supply.

Next time you're in SoCal you're welcome to come by for a listen.

Hey Russ .... yeah, I checked out the site Saturday morning.

It's a pretty spartan site, so finding the right phono stage you were mentioning was EZ :thumb:

How's it sounding with all that delightful overkill power supply?

Thanks, John

@Sonny:  No DAC, just dock.  The Wadia dock extracts SP-DIF from an Ipod.  It will probably end up plugged into the HT receiver.  My boys will dig that. Ipod soundtrack to Xbox games on the Home Theater.  Boys= :thumb: Dad= :duh:

@John: The clone is sounding very nice with the DL103.  Still playing with cartridge loading but a definite step up in resolution and extension compared to the older Audio Research single 6DJ8 stage I was using.

If I could have found 18v 500 mHA rechargables, the battery PS would have been a lot simpler.  On the other hand, I should be able to get about 500 sides between charges  :o.
