I'm wondering how big is surface area of a pair of N3 TL? It should be much less than a sheet of 4'x8'. Do you apply multiple coats on each surface?

From this page http://www.betterbond.com/heatlock/heatlock-FAQ.htm it says "A pint size bottle of Heat Lock will cover approximately 45 square feet of veneer."

 Since you are applying glue to both the back side of the veneer and the cabinet surface you need close to three (3) pints to veneer a pair of N3 TL's. I purchased a gallon jug of the Heat Lock glue which was a lot cheaper than buying the smaller size bottles. The Titlebond II works well too.

Hey Ron,

I have a quick question about the Neo 3 hole for a future build of mine. For the tweeter countersinking and hole the plans call for 5.11" and 4.3". Did you somehow make those exact sizes or use the closest fraction of an inch? The circle jig I have can do 1/16" increments so I was thinking of 5-1/8" and 4-5/16" (5.125 and 4.3125.) Would that be okay?

Hi Kristian,

 I used a Jasper circle cutting jig on my router to cut the holes. Made the outter hole 5-1/8" and the inner hole 4-5/16". They worked just fine for me.

The tweeter measurements were made with a dial caliper.

Try a few test cuts and see how close you get with your jig. I have found that I can rotate my Jasper jig on my router and get it to move one way or another by about 1/32 of an inch.

So with a little effort you'll find a setting on your router that will nail the size.

Is the crossover in this one the same? Thinking of having both the sealed and TL version to try.
