I'm using the Silver Eclipse 6 balanced IC's from CD>BP26>7B SST2's as well as the Silver Eclipse 6 SC's.  They made a very noticeable improvement on my previous cables (Monster).  I'm very pleased with the sound.  One caveat on the WW SC's is they are flat (45mm wide) and can be a little cumbersome to work with in tight spaces.  Not enough to be a deal killer, however.  I spoke with David Salz the president who tells me that Bryston uses WW cables frequently in show setups.  Don't know which ones, however.  Their customer service is great.  I bought them with bananas and decided I would rather have the spades after using them for a few days and they had me send them back, installed the spades and had my cables back to me in the same week at no additional charge. Give the manufacturer a shout, you just might get a response from the president. :D

Please pardon this most brief interlude…

Bill,

Why do you prefer the spades over the banana plugs? I use banana plugs and I am wondering if I might be missing out on something with respect to this.

Be well…

Hi Andy,

Strictly physical reasons.  As I mentioned the flat SC's and the inflexible egress route at the back of my cabinet requires a more secure connection than the WW bananas were providing.  I had one or two plugs collapse in rendering the connection completely loose.  The spades are working great.  I don't buy in to any argument that says one is superior sonically over the other.

Ciao!

I was not sure if I was missing out on something.
