Decent, given the size of the drivers and cabinet.  It's spec'ed -3dB @ 35Hz,  don't know what the in-room response is.  They are rear ported and there is an ambience dome tweeter on the rear that can be enabled or not.

The room is a smallish 16' X 14', half open on one end to a dining area and hallway.  I do have a subwoofer, but generally don't use it for music.

Thanks for the info. I appreciate it.

Oops! Just put this in the defense of our hobby threat by accident :duh: So perhaps a diff angle is in order.

Polished SS is a fav of mine :thumb: And unlike my old Audio Aero Capitole these are not dust magnets.

I like the look of Scaena speakers and almost anything in walnut.  Go figure.  I am kind of a traditional modernist.

Kind of looks like a giant semi-automatic pistol magazine clip.

I have been dreaming for over 2 years now of owning one of these Usher Dancer Speakers.

The curviness and the wood-panelling is beautiful.

And yes, McIntosch products are just so gorgeous.

  • To whom more was given more will be required.

Which is why I never quite understood why some manufacturers would choose horizontally finned heat sinks for their amplifiers.

Steve
I wonder even more... surely these horizontal heatsinks are less efficient.

nagra has a way of making components that look at home in the laboratory or in an elegant hi-fi.
