RMAF 2010: Who's going and what days will you be there?

I was just curious who will be attending RMAF this year. I'll finally be hauling my sorry butt over there.

I plan to arrive on Thursday afternoon. I look forward to meeting you, Nuance, and the other Salk owners that are able to attend.

It's a big show with lots to hear--you might want to stick around even if some of us fink out (I won't know whether I can come for another month).

I will be there for the whole show since we have a room this year and hope to find time to get out and visit the Salk room and meet Jim (and others) in person.

My brother and I were at last years show on Friday right after they opened and we had many of the rooms to ourselves. I still don't know if I can make it this year.

Sunday is actually the best day to go to really listen. Most of the crowds have thinned out. All the exhibitors would have had time to tune the gear and room to each other.

I hope to see a lot of AC members there.

Wayne is spot on about Sunday. On Friday people are still working to get things sounding right, some have it down pat but others have a little more trouble. Saturday is the busiest day and not the best for listening. By Sunday it's less crowded and generally all the rooms are sounding as good as they are going to get plus you have time to sit in the good spot and actually enjoy some music.

Me? I'm there every day but I'm local, so it's easy. I'll also be working the front desk Sunday morning from 9 to noon, so I might see a few there.

If only I could have stayed until Sunday. There was a lot of head scratching and button pushing Friday morning as vendors tried to get their borrowed high end CD players to make music.

I am not a Salk owner (yet) but I will be there. I will be there most likely saturday.

I am going to make an effort to be there. I am about 8 hours away. I think I will catch the show on Sunday and take Monday off from work for travel time back.

I have never been to an RMAF, nor have I had a chance to hear Salks. Hoping I can make it.

This is coming up pretty soon. I am looking forward to meeting Jim and crew as well as anyone else from here that is going. I know I will be there Saturday and I think Friday evening.

Am arriving Thursday afternoon and staying till end of Sunday.My first RMAF or any audio show for that matter. Have to meet you, Nuance, along with Jim, Mary and Dennis too if he can make it. Read your Journey search quite a while ago and have been glued to this forum ever since, If anyone is responsible for the family spirit on this Salk forum it's you. I have to hear the Soudscapes and any other Salk speaker present.
