Thanks for the responses.  Does any one know how to get a stripped screw out.  One of the Khartago screws is stripped, and I can't get it out.

Is the screw cross threaded (hard to turn) or is the head stripped?

The head is stripped.  I can't move it pliers either, they don't get a good grip.

In that case,you'll probably have to drill it out then retap the hole.

My friend who was a part time camera repairman, fixed my eye glasses by drilling out the small (very small) screw that holds the ear piece on.  The screw came out like a coiled spring.    So in highly skilled hands it's possible.

I got ceramic 5x20 6.3A fast blows on EBay that were shipped from Europe. I forget the vendor though.

Can you use a 5X20mm 6.3A 125V fuse in the Khartago?  I am finding the 250V fuses easy to order, difficult to find readily available. 125V are falling out of the sky. I ordered some 250V from parts-express, but was wondering if the 125V could be used in a pinch.  I still haven't solved the stripped screw head issue.

Thanks to all for their suggestions. I got the screw issue solved.  I was able to use a allen key.  A very educational  experience, and a exercise in patience.  After all of that, it was not a blown fuse, but another issue upstream. The high-end.

For future reference regarding removal of a stuck screw with a bad head. One trick is to use a left hand drill bit slightly smaller or approximately equal in diameter to the screw shank turning counterclockwise in a reversible drill. It will often bite into the screw material and back the screw out. Otherwise , try an easy out if you can find one small enough- it still requires you to drill a small hole in the stuck screw, though.
