My wife said it wasn't that good.  The previews looked over the top.  She dragged me to the first one but I said not this time honey.  She said her theater had about two couples and then said they must really love their wive's.

Yikes.  Not sure I would have the guts to admit seeing this movie, if I ever did see it.  My wife would owe me big time!!

Oh...he was serious.

I wouldn't watch it even if you paid me too.  Life is too short and precious.

Seems like you've got plenty of time to waste telling us about what you haven't seen yet WC.

I actually liked the 1st movie and will probably watch this one also,,, as soon as it shows up on HBO HD.  :thumb:

USA Today reviewed it last week and gave the movie 1.5 stars out of a possible 5.  I told my wife about the review and as much as she liked the first movie she said she would wait for the DVD.  Thankfully, I won't have to watch it!

Seriously? Even my daughter, majoring in fashion design, has no interest in this one.
At what point does the behavior of the characters just become sad?

At what point does going to see a movie about these characters become sad?  Immediately!

In the past few years I've become much more selective about what I will and won't see.  In 2006, for the first time in many years I kept a record of every movie I saw (at least one a week) and graded it.  At the end of the year, I was surprised by how many of them I considered to a waste of time.  Now by doing a little more research in advance, I spare myself the agony by avoiding the rubbish.  :thumb:

Seriously, you blokes who have seen this movie or are thinking about seeing it need to check your gender.  Take a teaspoon of cement and harden up.

Yeah I understand where you're coming from WC, I stopped renting DVD's for the same reason and simply wait til the good ones reach the premium channels. That way if the movie doesn't pan out, the channel gets changed and I'm not out $5.00. I'm a little more lenient when doing to the theatres tho as I always fit a matinee doubleheader in so I'm sure to get at least 1 good movie,,,, hopefully.

With Sex and the City 2 tho, even tho it's getting hammered at the professional review level, I still see am seeing a lot of positive reviews from the casual moviegoer,, and I'm not a pro reviewer so I'll keep an open mind,,, not hard for me to accomplish as it's fairly wide open anyways.

Seriously, you might want to take a handful of these and unburden yourself of some of that hardness that you seem to be full of.  :thumb:

My wife is going tomorrow with one of her friends - my buddy and I will have the kids for the afternoon - I would rather deal with 4 screaming kids ages 4.5-7.5 than see this movie.

Nuff said!
