My wife is going tomorrow with one of her friends - my buddy and I will have the kids for the afternoon - I would rather deal with 4 screaming kids ages 4.5-7.5 than see this movie.Nuff said!
The movie theatre does not have a pool table - my basement does!
Well i went and saw Sex and the City II today and it was lame. The storyline was lame, the acting was lame and it turned out to be a long long but welcome wait for The End. I'm glad I watched Splice 1st,,, good 3 out of 5 movie which while predictable was still entertaining. Sex and the City was easily the worst movie to date of 2010. 1.5 out of 5,, nice scottish wet t-shirt boobies and Kim Cattrall's sluttery were it's only highlites for yours truely. Cheers,Robin
Please tell me that a woman dragged you to it.-Jim
Why see no reason or need to explain myself to you Jim.
Why would you expect anything other than lame from Sex and the City 2??Sorry, but if you are silly enough to waste your money and go see it, you got what you deserved.George
Well George, I did like the 1st movie and there were a few here that actually liked the movie so i gave it a shot as a 2nd movie for the afternoon. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. I gave my opinion on the movie as have others who have seen the movie and taken the time to post their thoughts. Opinions from all those who haven't seen the movie are both worthless and a waste of webspace AFAIC. Cheers,Robin
I've never hit myself in the head with a hammer but I can guess that it's painful.
Good one! I don't need to see this movie to know it's a turkey and should be avoided at all costs!

I did see the first one (and yes, my GF made me! ) but it wasn't terrible at all. I never saw the 2nd one, but I have to scratch my head at the old "I don't need to see this movie to know it's a turkey" argument. Reviews go a ways but ultimately I'm my own arbiter of a good film. In this case, it seems pretty simple and straightforward to me...really bad reviews + this not being the genre I generally gravitate to +sequel status = STAY AWAY
