I think these top baffels need to be recut. The distance between the 2 speaker openings is to short. Seems I did some math wrong or I didn't allow for the pin in the circle cutter. Anyone know what the minimum distance between the speakers will work.

Those should work fine.  Having the woofer overlap the tweeter is something that Danny does on purpose.  I wouldn't start over just to try to get an extra 1/8" between drivers.

They need to be 4.75" apart and look like this:
