If I owned a BDA (which, incidentally, is on the wishlist) I'd open my wallet to see if a 2000 + euro device runs better on a 38 euro fuse instead of a 0.05 euro one... An experiment worth the money.

Without any intent to cause offense, that is a pretty low standard for evaluation.  Any snake oil claim qualifies if one does not require at least an explanation of how the new thing is supposed to make the improvement.  A fuse is a piece of metal designed to fail at a certain electrical current - how can that make an audible difference?

Not offended in any way (that takes quite a lot). :thumb:
Even snake oil claims should be put to the test. Some may actually work... Like the Furutech fuses. I actually had them in my old Aaron power amplifier, and they DID make a difference. A very significant one even. This was tested by changing only one channel from regular fuses to the Furutech ones (four per channel, so eight in total, plus the powermains one) and listening for the differences with a mono recording on cd.
Some people here spend hundreds, if not thousands of dollars on powermains cables. That makes a difference. So why not the small fuse where all electricity enters the device?

Measurements, please. Like the fuse impedance Z?
