They're not that big.... think about them.... as you'll age you can place your chair closer and closer... finally you could just sit between them and direct the horns directly into your ears... sparkling treble in your 80's!!!! Priceless!!!!Nap.
[quote BTW what was JBL thinking of when using compression drivers to produce... what, 89 db? Easy answer: To match the efficiency of the LE14 woofer.
I'm sure there's a reasonable explanation...
Dave, don't even try to resist, in the end it will be Klipsch not JBL for you http://www.klipsch.com/na-en/products/p-39f-overview/nap.
Kind of lame, Klipsch can extract 102 db from a conventional 15" driver:http://www.klipsch.com/na-en/products/kpt-325-specifications/Nap.
I'm not sure why you would consider it lame? I hope you would agree that JBL certainly knows how to build speakers and leads the way in many aspects of speaker evolution.
Vegas Dave, I think I've found some speakers for you:http://midgardaudio.no/extranet/Diverse/Largesystem/Photos/sIMG_4306.jpgAlso.... don't you guys just love audition rooms where you get to stare at a door knob while listening? Nap.
Ok, how much?
The speakers, silly.
Nah, I'll stick with the 1400 arrays.
Sure, but I'll never be able to afford those!
