What else can I say; it looks simply awesome VOLKS  :thumb:

I will never tire of walking into a room with McIntosh components and enjoying their distinct aesthetics. You must have noticed quite an improvement in your listening room ambiance when you are enjoying your music. Thanks for posting the photographs and congratulations once again on your new system VOLKS.

Oh, now you're posting pics...you really have no shame do you?

You really do seem to get upset over people displaying non-Bryston components with their Bryston components in this circle.

Volks,

I have no problem with McIntosh, I just don't like bright lights.  Can they be dimmed or turned off if desired?

Wrong.

Here's what my problem is, since you seem to be interested.

This is the Bryston board, is it not? And I can't have an opposing view?

Here's what happened and why I'm at odds with Volks.

1. Volks comes on here proclaiming how great McIntosh is and how it's better than Bryston
2. Then he advertises the sale of his now-gone Bryston equipment.
3. Then his buddies, Laundrew and Ananomouse attack me because I don't like Volks' treachery.
4. Now, Volks has the audacity to post pics in this forum instead of mailing them privately to Laundrew.

Search this forum, it's all there.

Look, what Volks still doesn't get is that this is a BRYSTON forum...he no longer owns BRYSTON, so why is he here?!

Yes, I want the guy gone, but that's not up to me.

In the meantime, that doesn't mean I have to support this guy or his actions. On the contrary, I can and will express my disapproval. So, keep trying to shut me up, it ain't gonna work.

Perhaps because he owns a Bryston BCD-1 CD player and a Torus CS-15 power conditioner?  Of course you're entitled to your opinion, but the fact is that not everyone has a Bryston-only rack of equipment.  Some people do mix other brands in with their Bryston gear.

Actually I think your departure will be a lot more enjoyable to all of us. *WE* are not the ones acting like a 12 year old kid that whines because someone elses candy is sweeter. I have 2 13 year old kids that both are more civilized than you...

Yeah, true. But, seeing as how fast he got rid of the amp and preamp, how long will he keep it? I can't say for sure, but if he switches that out, I won't be surprised. Anyway, I only have a Bryston amp and preamp myself. I would own Bryston digital, but I can't afford it at the present time.

I think Volks owes all of the Bryston owners an apology for how he carried on about McIntosh and how he put down Bryston. It was uncalled for.

Yeah, right. From the person that attacked me. That's highly credible. Volks started all of this mess, you know.

Yeah, the meters are cool...

Listen, I don't have a problem with McIntosh equipment. It's good stuff (not as good as BRYSTON though)

But this Volks guy, he's something else...
