Alternative for OPA2134 in Ripper
« on: 26 Feb 2010, 05:09 pm »
I'm building a line-level Ripper (I have a Cornet2, so I didn't think there was any point to including the Bugle) but the OPA2134 op amps specified seem to be generally unavailable at the moment.  Has anyone out there built a Ripper successfully with other op amps?  Thanks!

Hi, schubert,

I've just ordered six OPA2132 (OPA2132PA-ND at Digi-Key) for my Ripper. Mr. Hagerman suggested them as an alternative here: http://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=28747.0.

Regards,

Just got three OPA2134PA's from PartsConnexion and no extra fee.  They arrived a few day's ago for my HagClock! :)

Thanks for your replies, gentlemen.  I had tried PartsConnexion, but I couldn't get the search function to work, so I thought they didn't stock them.  I thought I'd tried Digikey for the OPA2132 and found them out of stock, but I guess I didn't!  So...PartsConnexion it is!  Thanks again   :D
