I was lookig at this as a little cheaper alternative to Dynamat to line the woofer baskets. The modeling clay just seems like one heck of a lot of work when your looking a 4-15's & 2-12's.

I used this Quick Roof stuff from Home Depot inside my RM30 cabinets and on woofer baskets.  Works like dynamat for a lot less money.

Did you have any problems or issues with odor or outgassing? Is it tar based? I looked at the link but it doesn't really say much.
