Hi Lab Guys,
Do you already used Corrosion X spray on Amps or SACD player circuits??
What your impressions??
There is any other better product?? or Corrosion X is the best??

a) It seems reasonable for use on switch and connector contacts.
b) Can't think of anything good that it would do on a printed circuit board.
c) But I can think of bad things that would happen if it got into a CD or DVD drive.
d) I wouldn't spray any oil based chemical inside a unit.

I use Corrosion X at work and would NEVER use it on electrical items.  Use dielectric grease if you need to use something.

Hi, thanks for the infos.
I see Corrosion X on a store, the papers there say to spray in circuits too!!
I do not know it before, it is a oily product??

Yes, it's a petroleum base to resist moisture.

So, I think better do not take risk to spray this spray in a HiFi circuit, as was suggested by this local magazine of my country:  http://clubedoaudio.com.br/loja/Produtos.aspx?IdCategoria=3
They are selling C-X it at low prices.
