Red Wine Audio is moving up in 2010!
« on: 3 Jan 2010, 01:07 am »
All,

I hope everyone enjoyed the holidays!  I have some exciting news to share:

In late January / early February, Red Wine Audio is moving to a brand new facility in Durham, CT.  The new building offers more manufacturing space, and will feature the dedicated listening room I’ve been dreaming about for a while!  :D

On an appointment basis, the listening room will allow you to audition our components and WLM Loudspeakers in a very relaxed environment. You can even bring your existing gear along to see how it mates and / or compares to our offerings. And most importantly, we welcome you to bring your favorite music (CDs, vinyl, or even a laptop filled with music!). I will enjoy meeting customers and fellow music lovers, and would love to show-off our production space during your visit.

Attractions very close to the new location include a vineyard and apple orchard:

So depending on the time of year you visit, you can also enjoy local attractions right here in beautiful New England!  :wine:

NOTE: Between now and when we move, please contact us prior to shipping anything to our current address (especially when shipping from outside of the USA, where packages may be delayed in Customs). :!:

After the move, our new address will be posted in the “Contact” section of our website, and posted here on AudioCircle.

2010 is going to be a very exciting year for Red Wine Audio and our customers. We have several reviews in progress, and some exciting new projects in the works!

Thanks for all your support, and wishing you all Happy New Year!

Vinnie

Hi Vinnie and great to hear about expansion of RWA.
We are looking forward to your new product line up in 2010.

Also, I can't wait to hear your upcoming listening room as well.
It should be fun and exiting putting it all together.

Vinnie, if you need a hand in anyway, I'll be happy to help if I can.

Best

All,

Thank you for all your well wishes and support - I really appreciate it and am really looking forward
to the new building and what it will offer!   :singing:

Right now, everything is being built and under heavy construction.  But once we are moved-in and set-up, I'll post pics.  At the end of this month, my main priorities will be:

1) Packing up and moving to our new building (ugggh, moving..  :duh:)

2) Unpacking and getting set-up for production ASAP so there is minimal down-time (busy, busy, busy!  :hyper:)

3) Getting the Listening Room all set up (realistically, this probably won't be ready until the end of February or early March - as getting set up and catching up with production is going to be top priority)

But once all set up - it is going to be great to have a new, larger production space and being able to meet with many of you throughout the year (and beyond) for some good listening!   :banana piano:

Thanks again, everyone!

Vinnie

Gee, I drove through Durham today and there wasn't a single billboard welcoming Red Wine Audio.  Somebody in town dropped the ball...   :cuss:

Hi CG,

I'll have to call the town about this and complain.  Think of the added value such an attraction as "the new home of Red Wine Audio" will bring to the town

All,

Next week will be a very busy "packing-up" week, and the following week (first week in February) will be a very busy "move-in" week.  During this time, I must warn everyone that overall responsiveness to emails and phone calls will be slower - and I thank you for all your patience and understanding.  There is a lot on my plate right now - but we'll get there!  :whip:

Thanks again,

Vinnie

Some people will do anything to avoid replying to messages  but I guess it's time to prepare for your upcoming regimen.  :weights:

All kidding aside...congratulations on your new headquarters,  Vinnie.  It is an affirmation of your passion for audio and your exemplary level of customer service.  Best wishes for continued success!

Thanks, guys!

We are deep into the moving process now - tearing down the shop, packing, uggghhhh!  :duh:
I hope to be back up and running the week of Feb 8th.

I have an auto-response on my emails that explains this, and the new address and phone number will be posted next week.   So my responses are going to be delayed, but I'll get back to your messages...

I'm looking forward to finishing the big move and get set back up for production and good times ahead!

Thanks again for all your patience and understanding during this very busy time for me.

Best regards,

Vinnie

I don't own any RWA gear, nor have I heard it before.  Its been on my radar and I've lurked here for a while (that doesn't sound right).

Vinnie, you seem like a great guy who truly values his customers and has a passion for what he does.  There should be more guys like you in the field.  Congrats on the move, and best of luck to you.

I've got to hear some of your gear one of these days.  Maybe after you're settled in, I'll make the trip from Irvington, NY (Westchester county) to hear your gear in your new place.  I've been looking into DACs, and yours seems like it would be right up my alley.
