Thought it might be interesting to see how we have our Transporters hooked up.  8)

I'm using the RCAs into a Modwright 36.5 pre amp, and then using the two pairs of RCA outs on that to feed 4 channels of a Parasound Halo A51 to bi-amp my HT3s.

   Also, I may be experimenting with using both balanced and single ended outs (one set to my 36.5, and the other to a separate headphone amp or possibly my AVR) to allow me to use the Transporter as a source with a pair of headphones, as well as through my two channel system without having to swap any wires around.

Balanced XLR (AQ Panther) to a Plinius M8 preamp, which is connected via balanced XLR  (VH Audio Symmetry)to Atma-Sphere MA-1 amps.

My Transporter is connected via JPS-SC-3 ICS (RCA) to Odyssey Mono SE Amps.

Balanced outs to BAT VK31SE and Balanced to Modwright KWA150.

mine is connected to my ASR Emitter direct input via JPS Aluminata RCA.

I use RCA out.  I don't have the need for balanced - only running 1m.  I do note that the RCA out seems to be slightly  more direct, with an extra join on the output wiring for the stock XLR outputs. Whether this makes any difference is debatable.

Unless you need XLR due to noise problems or long runs, I would stick with RCA out.
