The Chargers may have the stuff to win it all this year.  My Cowboys are just too undisciplined.  The rest of the East... Giants lack the overall talent, the Redskins are a mess, and the Eagles... well looks like another decade score 1/2 century has gone by in which they can't make it to the top.

Chargers lead.  Dallas fumbles, punt.  Turn out the lights on the Cowboys season.

Not a fan of either team but that was a very good football game!  At least both teams looked good, like they really know how to play football, unlike my favorite team on Thursday Night.

I hope the Giants can take care of business tonight.  As for the Cowboys, if they fail to make the playoffs I think it is a given Wade is gone.

Imagine what a team like Indy would do to the Pokes.  When are they gonna get it together?  Think they got leadership issues.  No one to give them fire in their belly.

Well next week in New Orleans against a 13-0 team would be a hell of a good place to stop the bleeding and get back on track. Dallas hasn't really played all that bad in the last 2 games, they just haven't been making the "big" play, both on defense and on offense when inside the red zone.

I'll be hoping for the best come next weekend cuz the Cowboys playoff hopes will probably be hinging on a win against an undefeated team.  8)

My best guess is that the Cowboys end up 10-6, but it's just hard to predict with these guys.  This team has the talent to make a deep run into the playoffs, but it doesn't look like they have the heart or the coaching needed to move up a level.  I just hope they prove me wrong. :dunno:

Interesting conversation on ESPN First Take this morning.  Now, you know Skip Bayless is a Cowboy diehard, but it was the guy sitting across the table from him who I don't know that made the case that the Pokes are a good matchup for the Saints in things like time of possession, Romo's improved stats, the Dallas D, etc.  Talk is, according to these guys, DeMarcus Ware may play.  Didn't realize it but the Saints are 28th in the league for points allowed.  Of course, they have a little something going for them to offset that, but, if Dallas could hold them to 3 TD's and change, maybe the Pokes redeem themselves?  I can get into that.

The Cowboys Roy Williams runnin his mouth put a nail in his team's coffin this morning.  Is this guy brain dead?

Yeah, I'm thinkin the Saints will try and stretch it on the Boys.  It's the Cowboys, after all, and the fans will be rabid.  Just don't think the Boys can keep up.  Love to be wrong.

I cannot believe that the Saints game wasn't televised in my market!  How do you figure that?  Held em to 17 points.  Man, that's good work.  Lookin forward to the stats later on Sports Center.

The game was on the NFL Network. It's the best game I've ever seen Romo play in a long long time! Yet that POS field goal kicker that Dallas really needs to replace missed yet another chipshot that would have sealed the win, just like what happened in the Washington game with New Orleans. This time tho, the Saints just ran out of time. Dallas finally closed a game that they dominated for 3 quarters. The Saints played one hell of a 4th quarter and they scared the living crap out of me for 15 minutes. They are an exciting team to watch play and I don't see this game as much of a stumbling block for them. It was a must win for Dallas tho and it helps keep the giants from an opportunity to earn a wild card berth.  :icon_lol:

Sat, you been sayin that the Pokes have been showing some consistency over the past two games and from what I just saw in the highlights it was great consistency.  Imaginative too how the defensive line attacked the Saints backfield.  Brees hasn't seen pressure like that.  The D played as well as the O.  The coaching shone, too.  Damn, they looked good!  Keep it up, guys!

Yep, unlike their last few games, Dallas sealed the deal on their drives with scores, 2 1st quarter touchdowns on their 1st 2 possesions. On the other side, it wasn't til late in the 3rd quarter for New Orleans to make their 1st 3rd down play, Dallas's defense was that solid. But the 4th quarter was a different ballgame, Brees sped up the pace and didn't give the Dallas defense a chance to set. This resulted in 2 quick touchdowns to make it a 7 point game. I fully expected the Saints to tie up this ballgame, I've watched them do just that every week. Romo was the deciding factor in this win, especially on the last time consuming drive when he completed a 3rd down/13 yards  at midfield to continue the drive. That one play was the play of the game for Dallas. It totally shut down the momentum that the Saint fans had going for the whole 4th quarter and it forced the Saints to use all their time outs in an effort to slow the clock.  :D
