Thanks guys. I too use the Remote App. When it connects, it does take a second or so, which is fine. But in the case of this problem it will try to connect for several seconds then request a different library. Since you don't experience this, I wonder if something is wrong with the Itouch? Anyway, it worked fine yesterday, so maybe with firmware updates, etc. it will go away.
I have downloaded regular software updates for iTunes, iPod Mini, iPod Video and Airport Express, but have never heard of an Apple software updates costing anything. The exception of course would be new Operating System versions for iMac and MacBook. Steve
