The "remote" thing isn't a "remote" like you'd use with your TV. I may have chosen the wrong words.
The "remote" I meant was the ability to control the DCX via it's RS-232 jack to your PC.
Dude, I'm here to tell 'ya what....The ability to "diddle" with the DCX settings while seated at your PC is truly something to behold. It's rather nice to alter the crossover point, delay, gain, etc... on any of six channels at any point in time. All the while sitting in my easy chair.
Leaving it alone might be best. If the SQ hasn't been affected, you never know what kind of can-o-worms you'd be opening up by cracking the case. Although, if you do open it up, you'd have the opportunity to do some mods while you're in there. aa
