This amplifier was responsible for damaging my Bose and KEF bookshelf speakers. After I replaced it with my Marantz receiver, I never experienced any further issues - and the sound quality was much more superior.

**Disclaimer** Please forgive Laundrew with respect to the Bose speakers as he was very young, naive and truly believed in the advertising that he was purchasing the "best" speakers in the world. I feel so dirty and ashamed - hangs head and gently sobs.

Greetings Robert  :D

Thank you for your kind words, yes Hector is doing great and his hydrotherapist has put an inch of muscle back onto his hind legs - in fact we have noticed his shoulders starting to "bulk" out also. Hector is going to have another 18 sessions and the goal is to have another inch of muscle over and above what he had at the "pre-injury" stage to better support his knees. A real bonus is that Hector really has fun in the tank and does not notice that he is "working." Our animal hospital is simply awesome and Hector receives first rate medical service - now if only us humans were as fortunate  :lol:

Laundrew, I was at the Imperial War Museum at Duxford (UK) today with my son and in one of the hangers was this amazing old WW 1 mobile machine shop the RFC (Royal Flying Corp [before the RAF]) used to keep their planes flying and thought of you...

Wow - thank you for posting these photographs. It looked like you enjoyed a most fabulous day. Is there anything that states, "I am an aircraft" than the SR-71 - what a beast  :drool: You have to sit back and wonder where the pinnacle of aircraft design is right now - the stuff they are flying in secret that has not seen the light of day - goosebumps ensues. It is also great to see our technological history been preserved.

If you are ever over in the UK, I cannot recommend IWM Duxford highly enough, they dedicate themselves to preserving history and making it accessible to all..

What some don't know about the Memphis, is that on the other side she is called the 'Sally B' so she doubled up during filming:

Couldn't agree more, I was lucky to see one perform at an air show when we lived in Greenwood, NS and I was very impressed with its aerobatic capabilities. I have flown in CF-18s and T Birds and would gladly take an Warthog over both of them.

A few new additions to the collection - many childhood hours were spent sharing adventures with these super heroes. A tent, a favourite comic book and a flashlight to read by was the key to foreign realms and when the eyes finally grew weary, a serenade of crickets, frogs and other night creatures carried on a warm summer's breeze was a welcomed lullaby.

Our most memorable and stressful time of 2012 was Hector's cruciate ligament injuries and the resulting two surgical procedures to enable him to walk again. His left knee had a Tibial Tuberosity Advancement (TTA) while a Tibial Plateau Levelling Osteotomy (TPLO) was conducted oh his right knee. Basically, they are fancy terms for modifying the knee geometry to compensate for the cruciate ligament removal. I tend to select my words very careful and seldom use the word "hate," but I can tell you that I hated putting our best friend through this.

The good news is that hydro-therapy is working wonders for our big guy as he has gained all of his muscle mass back into his hind legs and he will be able to return to been a Boxer again this spring. The squirrels are certainly going to be in for a surprise when Hector takes over again as I have been "filling" in for him by running after the squirrels while barking at them - I am considerably slower than Hector.
