Dynaudio Audience 72 spikes? (Somewhat acoustics related...)

Hello,
I just picked up a bargain pair of Dynaudio Audience 72 floorstanders.
Excellent condition, but no spikes included.

Does anybody know if these were sold with spikes?

There are brass nuts in the corners of the base, so they look prepared to have spikes screwed in.

Can anybody suggest a place to get my hands on some suitable spikes? The speakers will be placed on regular carpet, pile depth about 1/2 - 3/4 inches(I guess)

Thanks in advance
Knut

Unless you need to spend a lot of money, maybe something here would work http://shop.ebay.com/ronays-tweaks/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p4340
Don't know this seller but have purchased identical spikes. If you can here the difference one spike makes over another your hearing is better than mine.

Thanks! I'll look into these.
It's more a need to make the speakers stay put, as the soft carpet makes them quite unstable.
I also doubt I will be able to hear much difference in sound.

Parts Express is another seller. I put these under my subwoofer http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=240-718

A trip to the hardware store later, and after trying a number of different thread size bolts, I find that the bolts are metric M8.

Googling for standard Dynaudio spike thread sizes return several (!) sites showing that yes, Dynaudio uses M8 bolts for their spikes.

Why didn't I try that first?
