srb, thanks for that link to RAM, I ordered a longer PC with a right angle receptacle for my tv (shielded with Belden cable and a male Wattgate end, linked below...the regular right angle cord only came in a 6' length), and a longer HDMI cable from them.

Very nice, good quality and reasonable. I just made a post in the AVA Circle in the thread "IEC receptacles on AVA amps". Although the thread started to get off topic toward whether or not cords made a difference in sound, I said:
"I'm not going to doubt those who say that the cords make a difference in their system that they can hear, so I won't make fun of them.
However, I do choose to make fun of those who spend many hundreds to well over a thousand dollars for a power cord. That amount of money spent to buy an amplifier, computer, turntable, or washing machine, yes. For high-priced power cords, the materials, assembly and intellectual design property simply do not justify the cost."
