I am running a pair of Audio physic Spark IV floorstanders that are 6 7/8 " wide .in my opinion they are very fine looking and sounding two channel loudspeakers. these little gems retailed for $4000 + and I bought them used on Audiogon for under $2000. good luck....WCW III

(After a second glance, the wooden thing in the middle is certainly NOT a speaker)  :roll:

it's that Synergistic Research 'sphere'...... ie. - room bass tuning eq device, I wasn't impressed, but then again when I walked into that room and saw those speakers I damn near lost my lunch....YUK !!

I think the bigger Totems, i.e. the Sttaf and the Hawk fit the width criteria and should have a much bigger rock out factor.

You're right.

Staff = 6.3"W
Hawk = 6.8"W

Totem Hawks are quite nice, I almost bought a pair myself.  Surprising amount of sound and depth from a fairly small speaker.  You would could buy them used and save a bit, I've seen them for as low as $1400 on Agon... They also look nice.   :thumb:
