On this picture is my former OB1 driven by 4BSSTC. That was last year.

This year I am happy owner of EB1i pushed by a pair of 7SST SQ.

In this picture there are OB1 standing next to EB1i

The bottom one by itself without grille cloth is a 9 Kappa.  I have a pair I bought in 1990 that are now mated with my new 7Bsq's.

Indeed they do.  They are notoriously amp unfriendly with an impedence dip to .8 ohms somewhere between 20-30 Hz. with nasty phase angles and the 7's don't break a sweat even under demanding material at higher volumes.  The heat dissipation at these loads is hardly higher than when at idle.

Speaking of speakers...would James Tanner know of a PMC dealer in the Vancouver area? Our Bryston dealer doen't sell them.

That's cool. I'd like to get a pair of 7Bs (at least SST,) but I can't afford them.

Hi rmurray,

No I am sorry I have been out of the loop on PMC dealers in Canada for a few years now. Maybe Ian would know?
