Hi Laundrew , Nice picture and nice speakers but I'm surprised to see speaker cables so undersized to be more appropriate to handle the load of a floor lamp that of an amplifier. Man  ! you got to invest some serious money in cables.

Or he might just want to go to a bigger gauge. I run Belden 10 gauge from Blue Jeans Cable. Works for me.

Phineus is my robot you see in the picture and is currently an on going project. I am designing him to be an autonomous modern art painter.

I enjoy robotics as a hobby as it enables me to combine my mechanical, electronic,  programming interests and ?what if? scenarios all in one easy package.

Also when the machines take over the world  I am hoping that Phineus will say a few good things for his ?dad.?

So true and right you are, you should of seen the face on my audio guy when he saw the speaker wires when he delivered my JBLs
I will update my cables when I phase in the 28s in the next couple of weeks. I was wondering how long it was going to take before someone mentioned it - nice catch

Thank you,  I was using KEF Q1 bookshelf speakers. If I remember correctly, they were around $400-500 for the pair. I like my JBLs sooo much more
