This 2BLP probably spent many years is a smoky bar and smelled like stale beer when I opened it up. It was super-easy to work on and a shining example of Bryston build quality.
I cleaned everything up inside and out, replaced the power cord and sanded/painted the top cover with BBQ black paint.
To me the 2B sounds just like it looks inside - simple and purposeful and very "open" soundstage. I really like it, one of my favourite Bryston amps.
