What makes one an Audiophile?
I'd liken an 'audiophile' to being a 'student'. Because all it takes to be an audiophile is actively pursuing better sound from your system... you can be in first grade or a grad student. And upper classmen often help freshmen.. You can skip grades, or go slow... or take a break for a few semesters.. but, you will always be a student because you're never 'done'. -C
One thing i notice an Audiophile they're will buy any well recorded vinyl or CD regardless what kind of music is recorded in.I was never into classical or country.now i start buying them base on great review.
Unfortunately, too many people judge the quality of a system by its price tag. The truth is, you can spend a ton of money on a crappy sounding rig. I think you're an audiophile if, 1. you love music AND, 2. you try to get the best sound within your price range, regardless of how much or how little you have to spend.
