FS: Four Channel Dual-Mono LM3886 Gainclone

I built this amp originally as two channels and added the second pair to use in an active system. The boards and parts were purchased from chipamp.com. The case is a black anodized model from Par-Metal. One pair of the modules has upgrades parts including: Blackgate caps and PRP and Mills resistors. The amp is thoroughly over-engineered with two 330VA 24V Antek transformers (good for ~60W/channel) and far more heatsinking than necessary. Also, there is a soft-start module installed to avoid dangerous power surges at turn on. Input RCAs are Cardas, binding posts are Eichmann and Neutrik Speakon.

Since this started as a two channel amp and morphed into four, only one pair of the boards is accessible via conventional binding posts. To access all four channels, the 4-pole speakon connector must be used. As such, I will supply the mating Speakon connector for you to build your own speaker cables. Alternately, I will install another set of binding posts at cost upon request.

The case work isn't the best, and the case started-out as home for a GB150 amp (the reason for the hefty heatsinks); however, I think it looks pretty good with the top on and the blue LEDs glowing. Asking $300 $250 OBO.

Reduced a bit more.

Aside from being used in an active system, this amp could also be: used to bi-amp regular speakers or in a surround system, re-wired so that two modules drive each channel (making it a normal stereo chip amp but with more current delivery).
