So, I have a pair of floorstanding ported Neo-2X's...

I was curious what the proper center channel to go with them is since I'm thinking of possibly adding a center channel.  Another floorstanding ported Neo-2X is not an option.  I would need something more like a horizontally mounted MTM or MT.

Is there a sealed N3 Neo design that would work, or is a sealed Neo-2X the correct match?

Danny did post pricing and box pdf for sealed N3 center channel. I am hoping to build one for my OB/7's.

The X-MTM uses larger woofers and the box volume is a little more than what's needed for this design.

Off Danny's advice I went with a sealed Neo-2X for my center, works great. And if you look at the photos in my thread, you will note that I retained the Vertical disposition..

Just make a bass box stand that consists of a SW-12-04.

Uh... that's not what I'm after.  I'm already going to have a sub using 2 SW-12-08's in the system.  I just want a similar low frequency response across all 3 front speakers if I end up building a center channel.

What you are proposing would be pretty tricky. Even with the sealed box it will blend to the subs much better than you'd think.
