Hopefully one of you guys can help me out. I recently picked up a great Decware preamp. By design, there is no power switch on the unit. Because it's a tube pre and I have small kids I don't want to leave it on all the time. I'm looking for a suggestion on how to add a power switch to the unit without modifying the chassis. The only easy idea I can think of is adding a power strip or conditioner. I'd prefer not to do that due to the possible effects on sound and space limitations. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Assuming it has an iec inlet, you could use a small box with a male connector on one end and a female on the other. Install a switch and wiring in the box and plug it in. Not the best scenario, but given that you don't want to alter the chassis, it's an idea.
