iPhone apps for Bryston
« on: 18 Mar 2009, 01:51 pm »
Hi James,

I would like to use my iPhone to control my Bryston processor.  it is not complicated to create apps for iPhone/iTouch.  Is this something Bryston is considering of doing?

Thanks.
Levi

Thanks James.

This is what is out there.  Airremote a separate box that iPhone or iPod communicates to via wireless lan.

Sonos also have one to control their system via wireless lan.

Finally, SAVANT.  It is like Airrmote with a separate controller box.

The easiest way is to have a web interface that you can access by the iPhone, other than the examples above. I know that the Denon AVP-A1HDCI has such an interface, it's been referenced in the AVSfourm threads (or page 68 in the manual).
Though I would find it better to use this interface to save various setups so we can do backups of settings when doing firmware updates and other configurations.
