I have been experimenting with rectifiers in my Cornet 2. After using very good GE and Amperex 5AR4 which gave ~362V B+, I found a number of NOS 5Y3WGTB, a 5Y3-type rectifier that is indirectly heated, for slow warm-up like the 5AR4. Well, I wanted to buy 2 but had to get all 8. They sound very good, and test well. But I can't undertand how the lower voltage, 338V at B+, can still sound "better". There was some discussion of rectifiers in another thread.
Either way, I have 6 extras if anyone wants one or 2. I just want to get back what I have in them, $15 apiece. Sorry, If I am breaking a posting rule by bringing this up, I will delete the post.

Contact me off list. They are CBS Hytron (brown base, black plates) from the late 50's. (EDIT: all tubes are spoken for)
Any thoughts on ths rectifier?
