8-9' depending on whether I am slouching or sitting up. Speakers are kinda close together at 5' CoC, and 4' out from front wall. They are well toed in, crossing 2' in front of my sitting position, and I get a nice wide and fairly deep soundstage.

Speakers are 8' apart, tweeter to tweeter, 4' from part of the front wall and 2'3" from other parts of the non-symetric front wall, and my ears are 9' from the front of each speaker.

Speakers are 8' apart, 3 feet each from the side walls and 3 feet from the front wall.  My spot is in the center 8' from the speakers.

Speakers are about 6' apart, and listening position is about 8-10 feet back from them.

About the same as BobM above...6' across and 8-10' listening distance.

Except, I'm rarely 8-10' away in the exact right point...I listen mostly during the 8-10 hours I am down in my office, so good sounds off-axis are a must for me to enjoy things.

3 feet from front wall, 40 inches from side walls.  speakers 8 feet apart and listening position 9 feet from each speaker.  back wall 10 feet from listening position.

Well from my feet to my ears is 6'4" and the wall is only a couple of feet from the end of the bed so about eight and a half feet.

speakers are just under 10' apart - 5' from side walls and 7' off the front wall.  I sit around 12' away...

I am approximately 13 feet from my main speakers. I would like to be nearer, but this is as close as our room lay-out and WAF will allow.

Browntrout,
Your speakers seem to be a reasonable distance but the wine is definitely a few meters too far.

About 13 feet. (Ear to speaker)

Didn't we just do something like this? http://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=65338.0 What is the consensus?

Did I win the drawing for a free CD?

:D

Ok, I know. . . . . . .

I move my room around like crazy, but on average 9 feet from speaker to ear.

Just a little over 9 feet to the ears. Magnepan 1.6, 4 feet out from front wall, about 7 feet apart center to center. 8 foot behind to the rear wall.
