I do not know the answer to your question but it seems likely that M is mono and S is stereo.

Yes, M for Mono and S for Stereo.

What is the difference for the sound quality?
I don't really get the meaning of Mono and Stereo.

Because I am still a Newbie in this home audio.

Anyone could help me to get the answer.

If you read the history of monaural sound here -

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monaural

and the explanation of stereo here -

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stereophonic_sound

you will perhaps understand better that the question is not one of quality but compatability of the cartridge with your disks. Unless you have a collection of vintage 'mono' recordings you don't want the YC-03 M.

Thank you Mr. Jampot,

So, which one is better from your opinion?
The Mono one, or Stereo one? If I saw on the wikipedia, that mono means disc or record made before 1970..and I do not have this records...

Is it better for me to take the Stereo one?

Thank you.

Yes, You need the stereo one :thumb:

Is the arm on your tt suitable - I don't know how much the Yamamoto is but I suspect expensive and it may not be the best match for your system.
