BP25 Code Needed for BCD-1 Remote.
« on: 17 Jan 2009, 07:26 pm »
Hello Everyone, I finally got my BCD-1 last night and I am quickly working my way through my fav CD's.

Does some one out there have the code for the BP 25?  I do not have it listed in my owners manual.

Thanks.

Hi Chris,

Should be the same as the BP26.

Programming the remote control:
The infra-red remote control supplied with the BCD-1 can also be used to control the volume and mute functions several other Bryston products. To program the BCD-1 remote control to operate other Bryston models follow these steps:

1st) Press and hold the CODE button on the BCD-1 remote until the red LED begins to flash (usually takes about 5 seconds).

2nd) Enter a three digit code as follows:
       721 : BP26 preamp

The red LED will flash twice after a code has been entered successfully.

Thanks for the quick reply ... I tried the code a few times although, it doesn't seem to work ... is there a way to reset the remote and try it again?

Hi Chris - your BP25 probably has an older codes - contact Mike Pickett at Bryston and he will give you the instructions for changing the code.
