Vodka????

No хлебное вино (bread wine) drinkers here? I was raised on it.
My favorites (read: staples) are Kettle One and Tito's. Ice-cold, neat. On rare occasions I'll find a bottle of Kauffman's and splurge (distilled 14 times!).

Grey Goose has been my fave for a long time. Love the slight mineral-water undertones in it.

I'll order Stolichnaya on occasion just because I like to say it.
I agree that it should be very cold. At home, I use these:

Check out the experiment on this blog:

. They were able to create a very drinkable vodka without the premium price.

My favorite vodka to drink with a splash of juice is Hangar One.
I love Three Olives for its price and the good mood it seems to always put me in.

i'm partial to chopin vodka. it's a polish potato vodka and it's pretty damn good. when i'm in the mood for a flavored vodka, i lean towards either vanilla stolichnaya or van gogh's dutch chocolate.

Kettle One awesome
Tito's terrific
Hangar 1 Great
These are over distilled vodkas , hence very clean and pure.
Vox , not bad!!
Lukosovwa Potato vodka !!
I am partial to the potato vodkas.
I drink mostly wine, beer less so, vodka is the only hard liquor I can enjoy, perhaps because it is so clean. The good ones offer less hangover( hey a speaker term) but too much of a good thing is always too much
but fun while your'e at it.
Mariusz gave me a Polish Voska at my rave, it had a strip of wood in it, one of the best vodkas I ever had, warm, in a plastic cup, it was deliscious!!
Definite attitude adjuster aa

My favorites:
Tito's--good everyday sipping Vodka, straight up, ice cold. Got hooked on this while in Texas.
Chopin--clean and refreshing, straight up, ice cold. Mmm, polish potatoes!
Glacier--crazy good and cheap, straight from the freezer...oh so good. Made in Idaho from Idaho potatoes.
Peace,
Lee

I can't stand vodka. To me, drinks made with vodka taste like cough syrup. That said, I used to like white russians on occassion and I thought my friend's favorite, Stoli vanilla and sprite, was ok.

Josh, cough syrup? no no no , vodka is very clean it just adds a little bite to what you mix it with.
Really good vodka with say seltzer and a little lime or lemon is so clean and refreshing.
Of course a bunch of them will get you hammered.
If I had to choose one liquor to have on a desert island it would be vodka.
Of course being a desert island they probably wouldn't have ice, so I would be screwed.
And if they had ice i would still be screwed because I was on a desert island.
Unless I had Mariangela Melato with me on the island

I'm partial to Belvedere myself. Nice and smooth, easy going down.
I've heard that Three Olives is good too, i just can't drink a Vodka made in England!

Tito's for me, too. I didn't realize it was popular with anyone else until I read this thread.

Kettle One for me...but a good friend of mine recommended Tito's if I can find it. I'll have to give it a try given the response here.

Topround the Vodka I brought is called Debowa Vodka. It has a piece of Oak inside for flavor from polish old forest.
Buffalo Grass Vodka is also pretty good. (again, real grass inside the bottle)
Chopin Vodka is another good choice
