Looking for a replacement belt for a Marantz 6100.
Does it matter where I buy?
Suggestions?

I just bought a replacement belt from http://www.turntableneedles.com for a Pioneer PL-A25. I could not be happier with their service.

Thanks for the links.
But are all belts created equal?
I know the Marantz 6100 is an entry level machine, but I was wondering about tolerances, quality, etc. also.

Almost all belts for these vintage machines are from a second party. I have bought at least one belt that I could feel the thickness vary with my fingers and it didn't play well. The other problem is that some belts are not the right length. I bought one from Needlewacker that was too short and pulled my suspended table too close to the spindle, causing all sorts of problems. LPGEAR seems to do a nice job and the quality is good, the price is high. But I'd rather have an expensive belt then a cheap ass one that causes problems. I at least, would not recommend buying one on ick-bay.
