that pic is an old set-up, when i used to be married. that piece of equipment is a harrison labs dc power supply. it was a big upgrade over the stock power supply that came with my origin-live dc motor kit i installed on my turntable. (which was a big upgrade over the oracle's stock motor.) the second pic below shows my present set-up w/replacement hewlett packard power supply. (somehow, the harrison labs p/s didn't surwive the wife's temper when she became the "ex-wife", but the oracle was repairable - note new suspension pillars, and upgraded tonearm.

)

also, note the record sweeper i mentioned prior, and the lead weight "outriggers" i have blu-tacked to the tonearm pivot, which helps damp side-to-side movement.
if you look wery closely in the following pic, you can barely make out a coupla other tweaks, besides a better wiew of the tonearm "outriggers" - mod-squad tiptoes and mini platform for them, wedged between cartridge and tonearm; and then there's a little audio-technica tonearm lifter that lifts the arm of the record at end of play...

Hey doug,
What's that piece of equipment in your gallery next to your T-table, (on picture 6 of 98) ??
It looks like an old analog microwave power meter.
Just curious . . . . .
