Hmmm... I just dug out a QSC MX1500A from the basement to use for now (It's a pro audio amp), actually if you take the cover off one and the other, the Odyssey looks a bit inferior with it's single circuit board and transformer (considering that the QSC is a pure mono design with dual transformers (and I believe 8 or 12 Fets/channel) and are rated at 350w/channel into 8 Ohms)
But listening to the QSC for 5 seconds revealed why I like the odyssey so much. The amp has no essence, no soundstage, and sounds extremely muddy while the treble is extremely thin. While this might be a harsh assessment of an amp that originally cost slightly more than the odyssey, I don't think I can listen to it for very long.
I might try the AB Audio amp I have, but if my memory serves my correct it sounded even muddier.
(These amps have been in storage for over 3 years now)
