With all due respect, this is not a scattershot approach. In keeping with the Greek alphabet theme, I looked a what might be appropriate. The obvious counterpoint to Omega would be Omicron, meaning small. As in small impact on the sound ie., getting out of the way of the signal, or music. Looking further, Tau would also be an interesting alternative. The Tau, in circuitry design, signifies the time constant, acknowledging that the Tau series maintains the timing and coherance of the signal.
This spawned an interesting thought about a similar sounding name that might be more enigmatic and paradoxical, the Tao.
"Lao Tzu begins the Book of Tao by telling us that the Tao, the absolute, cannot be defined with words. He says we must look for it."
Other descrptions of the Tao are 'the way' and 'the all and the nothing'. Entirely appropriate when describing superlative audio componentry.
